I recommend going to your local ski shop and trying on as many helmets as you can to make sure they fit both your head AND goggles (and if their price is close to or the same as Amazon, just buy it locally). I wear this helmet with a entry model set of Smith goggles. I find the helmet comfortable and does a good job at keeping my head warm in 20+ weather. The helmet has vents that do not close, so if you are going to be skiing in under 20 degree weather i would get a beanie or full head mask to wear under the helmet to keep your noggin warm. The only negative i can report about the helmet is the goggle snap broke in the back, but one call to Giro and they sent me a new snap without question and without charge. Very good customer service on their part. |
