  Yaktrax Pro By: Yaktrax Average Rating: 5.0 Total Reviews: 7 More Information Yaktrax's are the best  On: 2008-10-26Yaktraxs are unbeatable. They give the greatest traction in all icy conditions. I run a high mountain camp and have tried many ice traction devises. In icy conditions, CAUTION, is always the most important factor, no matter what the devise. In walking indoors all devises can be hazardous, it depends on the care you use while walking. My staff and I have used Yaktraxs for years. For inside staff, regular Yaktraxs are the best. They put them on to walk from their cabin or car to the office and pop them off once inside. For my outside staff, the Yaktrax Pros cant be beat. They are rugged and dont ware out. The strap over the front of the boot keeps them in place in most situations. When coming inside it is best and easiest to slip the boots off and to step into indoor shoes. For long Life - take a little time - when putting "Traxs" on, make sure they slip into the grooves in the soles of the boots and if the end of a spring starts to catch, use a pair of pliers to squeeze it back into place. The Yaktrax Pros I have on now have lasted me for three years and counting. Money Well Spent - again On: 2008-02-13A couple of years ago I saw these in a catalog and bought a pair each for my husband and my father for Christmas. I dont think my father has ever tried them on, but my husband wears them all winter long in icy conditions and talks about them constantly. He insisted that I buy a pair this year, and wow, am I ever glad I did. I keep them attached to my snow boots so all I have to do is slip the shoes on and go for my daily walk with my three dogs. I can now keep up a nice pace instead of worrying about slipping and falling. Several of my neighbors have now purchased them as well. Get the Yakrax Pro instead od the Walkers. The strap over the toe is the key to loving or hating these I bet. If my three dogs could rate these, it would be another 5 stars. incredible purchase & seller! Great idea that works well. Bought these for my boots and the standard version for my regular shoes. The only difference really is the strap across the front of the foot which secures them better to the foot on the pro version. Kept me from falling during a recent ice storm and going more damage to my hip and back. Wonderful product and worth the price you pay!
