![]() Tech 4 O Snowboarding Airpod By: Tech 4 O Average Rating: 5.0 Total Reviews: 5 More Information Think U got AIR? The Tech4O Air Pod is the newest, latest, most amazingly tight performance instrument designed for seriously sick riders who want to prove their air. Yeah, yeah. I know. U gotta have style, but theres no flare without air. Heres the "techy" stuff: The Air Pod uses hardcore accelerometer technology to calculate your "air" or "hang" time for your last 15 jumps, total for the day, and total for the entire year! Also provides time, date, alarm, and temperature! Complete with leg/arm strap and AAA battery. Quality manufactured in Germany. Bought this as a gift for my 15 year old nephew, he loves it! He is always into air time...snowboarding or skateboarding. He loves this toy. Bought this as a gift for my 15 year old nephew, he loves it! I never heard of Tech4O before, but they have a nice site with some other really cool watches and stuff on it. Im still not sure how it works, but it is so cool. AIR POD can tell the exact second you leave the top of the kicker and measure your airtime until you land. Me and a friend of mine had a little comp to see who was going bigger off the same kicker and the most air I was able to get was 3.45 seconds. Even when we didnt totally stomp the landing or washed out a little bit, the AIR POD still recorded our air time perfectly. The strap was a lot more comfortable than I thought it would be and the light made it easy to check my air even when it started to get dark. The last couple of seasons all I did was hit the rails and boxes in the park, but those got old. Getting an AIR POD really makes getting bombing the mountain for huge airs fun again. Im defintely gonna keep it my bag with the rest of the stuff I always bring to the mountain. Cool product. by: Anonymous On: 2006-12-14 i used this product last weekend, and thought it worked well. steve and i were able to compare our jump time to each other--though i wish we didnt have to share the air pod. meant loaning it to him after every run. a lot of people on the mountain liked it and had never seen anything like it.
