After some research I settled on a model made by Mountain Boy Sledworks in Colorado because they seemed to be the most driven towards quality and fun: man, was I right on! First of all this kicksled is just so much fun, its like a scooter on sled rails- and it cruises! I am even going to hook my dogs up to it and have them tow me around like I am in the Iditarod. And second, my intuition about Mountain Boy Sledworks craftsmanship were right on, the sled is so well made, so beautiful to look at- it is truly a hand made work of art. I can sincerely say that if you want to get out in the winter and have some fun sledding around, then this is your ticket to happiness. |
