Nice pack - perfect size for peak bagging. Not to small - not to big

Let me preface this review by saying this is my very first serious backpack, so I may sound ignorant to a more experienced buyer. Lafuma is high-quality, no doubt. For me, however, this bag is not all that I needed. The first problem is I could not find any fitting information on this bag on Amazon, Lafumas website, or any other sites. I am 61" and it is too small. It seems like it would fit someone 59" and under, but Im just guessing, I could be way off. Its a top-loading bag and I didnt think that would bother me, but it does (it may not bother you). The zipper pocket at the front of the bag is genius, but b/c the bag does not fit me it is in an inconvenient place for me, but probably is in a good spot if the bag fits you. Same with the water bottle pouches (which are humongous and can fit any sized bottle, seemingly) and the zipper on the back of the bag; theyre great but inconvenient for me since its too small. A 28 bag is small, like a middle-schoolers backpack, but I imagine it would seem larger if it werent top-loading.

I just discovered that there is a "shower cap" for the bag tucked in underneath the outside flap that covers the bag and protects it from rain, which is brilliant! Another thing I didnt know before buying is that there is a zipper pouch on the very top of the bag, underneath the elastic straps.

Basically, the one thing I didnt like was that its top-loading, and everything else stems from the fact that it doesnt fit me. If it fit me Id probably give a 4.5, and if it were not a top-loader Id probably give it a 5.
