![]() Giro 2009 Tuneups Bluetooth Link/Lock By: Giro Average Rating: 2.5 Total Reviews: 2 More Information Sound great, easy to use, a little bit thick. I purchased my helmet and my Tuneups separately, but installing them was a breeze. I didnt have any problem connecting it to the phone, it worked on the first try. They sound great, have excellent volume and skiing with them is a pleasure. I havent yet made any phone calls with them so I dont know if the mike works as well as the speakers, but since it is well positioned close to the side of the mouth I see no problem with that. Only two minor issues with the unit. One is that the speakers are a little bit thick, and they make the earpads press a little bit hard against my ears. Nothing I dont get used to after a few minutes but right after putting the helmet on I feel like I had two bricks in my ears. The other issue is the lack of controls in the BT unit. I cant skip forward or backward, pause doesnt work, etc., so I have to take my player out of the pocket and control it from there. Other than those two issues, the device works perfectly and Im very happy with my purchase. Tune up? More like Tune Down Im a pretty easy guy to please... but I cannot recommend this product. The bluetooth module that plugs into the middle of the cable is of poor quality. When it is plugged in, the audio quality is totally unusable. Audio is muffled, you can barely hear the vocals, sounds like someone singing in a tin can. If you remove the bluetooth module and plug the MP3 player directly into the earphones, the audio quality is OK. The problem is with the bluetooth module, or the multiple cable connections. |
