The merino is an outer layer the inner layer is synthetic. Had I known that the inner layer was synthetic I would never have bought them. The reason for this is that synthetics are extremely uncomfortable when worn for any length of time. Id return it but postage is high and Ill in all probability give them to Goodwill |
