  Columbia Sportswear Men's Redwood Parka By: Columbia Sportswear Average Rating: 4.0 Total Reviews: 6 More Information warm but be careful  On: 2008-03-02the jacket does the job its supposed to do very well, i.e. 1) it keeps u warm in very cold weather 2) it protects you from rain however there are a few flaws that make wearing this jacket a bit of a pain... 1) if you are below 58 in height, it may not be a wise choice to buy this jacket. it does not fit short people very well, and you appear to be shorter than you actually are due to its length. 2) if you are thin, the jacket may appear a little big for you 3) the sippers on the pockets make using them dangerous, as the cold weather makes the skin easy to bruise, and the zip easily bruises the skin. 4) since the jacket is made of water proof material, it makes a sound when you are walking due to the friction between the cloth between your arms and the sides of your chest. Light and warm  On: 2008-02-26Fit true to size. However, I have some minor concerns about it. Id prefer it to be a lil wider for comfort. Also, the material is very "noisy": when on the move it makes rustling noise. And too few pockets inside - just one to be precise - could be more! Overall, a rather good one for the cold cold Canadian winter For the price, this is a terrific parka  On: 2008-02-14I didnt expect much, given the very low price on this parka. But Ive been wearing it nearly every day all winter, and it has held up just fine. Its warm, even on a recent zero degree day. Its waterproof. And best of all, its light and comfortable. The only thing I miss is a pocket on the inside. A very helpful purchase On: 2008-01-04I bought the parka because I was travelling to Moscow on Dec 21st. Parka has kept me warm notwistanding that temperatures has come down up to - 15 centigrades. I like its sharp On: 2007-12-19This product is high quality,with grape sharp fit my body the prices also acceptable.not too heavy in winter,especially the extra perfect length.the linings are very good, with a warm color match outside color. the bad thing is i bought Color: Tusk but the real color looks a little darker and yellow than the pictures on website. however,i love this deals. Beware the lime-green lining.  On: 2007-11-30I love Columbias jackets, but I will never understand why they sometimes put linings in that bear no resemblence to the outside colors. I bought the gray and black model pictured above and the lining is a light lime green with a big orange strip in it. What genius designer thought that one up? Otherwise, its an okay coat. The insullation is not as heavy as a Columbia 3-in-1 with the fleece lining in it and the fabric for the shell does not seem as heavy as other Columbia coats I have. |
