  Dakine Clutch Stomp Pad By: Dakine Average Rating: 5.0 Total Reviews: 1 More Information function over form  On: 2007-12-21Even though I know from experience that most of stomps are just a shallow 3D graphic that are practically useless once covered in snow, I almost didnt choose the "Clutch" due to its looks. Im glad I bought it: The Clutchs heavy duty, stiff plastic spikes/scraper rise an impressive half inch above the board. It may be a little heavy at 1.6 ounce, but I dont think that really matters in the grand scheme (all snowboard equipment is still relatively heavy and everyone is ripping on it) - if youre going to add weight to your board, might as well be with something that actually works. Maybe Id give it 4.5 stars because of that, but since thats not an option, Ill round it up to 5. There might be something else as good out there, but I just dont think theres anything better than this one. |
