I owned six Arcteryx jacket, including ALPHA SV, BETA AR, STINGER, THETA LT, and THETA AR jackets. The ALPHA LT is the lightest one. It uses glue to replace seams and so I hope it is durable. Comparing the new Gore-tex Pro shell with XCR fabrics, the Pro shell feels softer but still noisy. I also bought an ALPHA SV bib, which use Pro shell fabric. I compare it with a THETA SK bib using XCR fabric. Weight are roughly the same and I cannot find any edge of the new Pro shell fabric in the bib.
