The removable ear flaps are a nice feature - warm for winter skiing and removable for spring skiing. The helmet fits me nicely but other Giro helmets did not so definitely try one on in a store first to see which model fits best. The air vents in the top helped regulate my body heat but if it had been really cold and windy (it was in the teens but not windy) I would opt to put a thin hat on under as I dont believe the vents are adjustable. Overall, it was a good purchase and I feel much safer on the slopes, and stylish at the same time. |
