I just received this jacket, meant as a present. I wish I had known that the majority of exposed edges, including the sleeves, darts down front, and the edges of the hood are just raw edges, not hemmed at all. I was ready to send it back for really poor workmanship, when a young woman at the house came in and looked at it and said that it was all the style now, and she would take it in a minute. I am trusting that the seam edges do not fray constantly, and will send another review if that happens. I hope my recipient finds it as great as this other young woman did, but as an older woman, I would never wear this. I gave it a better rating just because it may be style issues rather than quality issues.
