I must say going into it, I had expected more coming from this pair of Under Armour gloves because its listed as Cold Gear. The gloves are thin, fits great on my hands, and looks damn good. But, this pair of gloves is pretty bad at keeping my hands warm even if its cold gear and its not waterproof. The shiny plastic pieces on the palm side of the glove also dull really quick after use so the quality is cheap and unless you are only going to use it for walk/runs on a brisk day, this is not going to be a solid buy. But 3 stars for looking damn good in them. A good fit for fall These gloves are great for chilly weather. They are tight fitting and thin which allows for a variety of activities without having to talk them off. They also grip well on a steering wheel or a pistol. Being in the Army, I wish that they were completely black. I colored in the white stripes and UA symbol with a Sharpie marker, but the reflective symbol seems to reject ink. If they get worn out or lost I will probably buy another pair. Warm & functional Purchased as a gift for my brother-in-law. He loves them (also got him the hood). Still able to work on cars and in his shop - reports that the gloves and hood keep him toasty while working outside in the frigid Wisconsin winter. good gloves nice gloves, they keep my hands warm when i go for a walk outside at night, although i dont like the grip pattern they chose, its ugly and i dont know how long they will last...they look like they could scrape off fairly easy. i havent had them for very long, but i have no other complaints so far. they work well. Greatly Satisfied! Really enjoy the product. They keep my hands warm when it is cold outside and when I am doing an activity as well. Good Liner Gloves with Exceptions These are Good Liner Gloves! But please take note: They were meant to be used for Lining the Inside of Durable Outer Wear Gloves or Shells To "trap" body warmth. These liners by themselves, are NOT Waterproof, nor Windproof, nor Grippers nor for Rugged use. Layers of Poly, Fleece and the like, help to keep in warmth--keep out the cold and wind. Of course these kinds of "Liners" can be worn for less frigid seasonal weathers While Running, Hiking, Biking, Walking the dog around the lakes. Satsifies a teenager! I have searched for years for the right gloves for my teenage son. He hated everything I ever brought home to him. I found these while shopping on Amazon (from Under Armour) and he loves them. He wore his gloves and the hoodie I got from Under Armour too and he didnt even complain about being cold and he was out there for nearly an hour shoveling us out of the lastest MidWestern storm! Great products! Very Nice This is a good pair of gloves even for snow use. It keeps my hands warm and fairly dry. However, I cant seem to locate the velcro pocket Im reading about in the other reviews. Help? Warm, soft to hands, tough enough to wear with a horse Product came on time, worked to keep my hands warm when riding and when grooming a horse and tough enough to survive throwing hay bales around to stack while keeping me warm in winter feedings. I keep them in a Carhart vest pocket and in my cold gear. Great Gloves The Under Armour ColdGear Fleece Gloves are an excellent product. I needed gloves that I could wear when I actually needed to be able to use my hands and fingers. These gloves are just right. They are not warm enough for the most cold weather needs, but are great for driving, shoveling, and daily winter wear. I particularly like the gripping texture of the finger and palm surface. |
