  Spy Targa 2 Snowboard Goggles Clear/Persimmon Lens By: Spy Average Rating: 5.0 Total Reviews: 2 More Information Excellent Goggles  On: 2008-02-11I purchased these Spy goggles without even seeing them first. I must admit, I was a bit worried about what I was going to get, but, I trusted the Spy brand enough to give them a try. I own these and a pair of Von Zipper goggles, and have also used Scott and Smith goggles in the past. The Targa 2 are excellent goggles. They fit my face perfectly when I used them with and without my helmet. One of the nicest features is a sticky grip on the inside of the strap that keeps the goggles in place on my helmet. I had no slippage problems with my goggles on my helmet, which isnt the case with my Von Zippers. Visibility is excellent - superb, in fact. I wish they shipped with a replacement clear lens, so that I could use them at night. Since my Von Zippers come with a clear lens, I used those at night and the Spys during the day. The seal on the Spys are also excellent. Since I snowboard, Im coming down the mountain with my face at a bit of an angle. Last year, when I wore contacts, my Von Zippers would allow air to seep into my eyes. On several occasions, I had a contact lens pop out of my eyes. That is NOT the case wit the Spys. The seal is tight and, even in wet conditions, they never fogged up. Overall, these are excellent goggles, well worth the $40 I paid for them, and I hope to get a second pair. These Goggles are Awesome! On: 2008-02-08Our oldest son has used SPY goggles--and has really liked them. When I saw these at the price they were--I jumped! I like them very much and the rubbery backing on the strap keep them in place on any helmet. The bad part is, they have such a cool factor that our younger son (age 12) talked me out of them! NOw I have to order another pair! Great price-great product and shipping was quick! |
