On: 2008-03-17Duofold makes excellent thermal midweight crew t-shirt styled underwear for those cold, cold days and nights. The 96% polyester, 4% lycra fabric is soft and extremely well made. This may be single layered fabric; but man, how it works to keep you warm! Truthfully, this underwear thermal t-shirt lasts years with proper care. It can be worn as underwear under your outdoor clothes or you can wear it in bed with your pajamas on over it. Whatever way you choose you cant go wrong with Duofold thermal underwear. At first the shirt may appear flimsy and floppy before you put it on--but after youre wearing it youll notice a huge difference. Youll be a lot warmer with it! It also does not bunch or wrinkle easily. As for maintenance, I just put mine in the clothes washer and dryer and everything always comes out fine. If you have any concerns about the color of this undergarment "bleeding" onto white colored clothing, just wash this with garments that are not white. Youll be fine. In addition, it shrinks very little. They say its odor resistant; but dont think you can skip any deodorant--it isnt a substitute for that! More like lightweight than medium weight  On: 2008-02-08The Veritherm underwear shirts we purchased for our son were supposed to be midweight. However, they were much thinner than the midweight shirts we bought at the local outdoor gear store, even though they were supposed to be the same brand, style, etc. Could there have been some mispackaging, or is someone misrepresenting the product? Anyway, if you are looking for midweight polyprop underwear, steer clear of this stuff. Warmth and Comfort On: 2008-01-12I purchased this for my grandson who is now living in the coldest state in the country. He was very pleased with the comfort and warmth provided and I was pleased that it was half the cost of a comparable make. |
